I have never attended an event like Lollapalooza, but i have heard that it is something to experience. The lineup was released and wow...pretty amazing. I normally wouldnt want to spend a bunch of money to get tickets, but I feel like this is just to good to pass up. I will let you check out the lineup for Lollapalooza 2009 for yourself.

i went to the one in the mid 90's with The Flaming Lips, Beastie Boys, and Smashing Pumpkins (who were not very good live) - but i must admit, this looks like the best lineup i have ever seen
